From Editors

The Aoyama Farmer’s Market celebrated its 7th year in existence in 2016. From this place where the urban and rural meet, Season 6 of Norah is being launched. It has been roughly two years since the preceding Season 5. The theme this time around is “seeds.” The magazine focuses on seeds, which are imbued all sorts of meanings. In Japanese, the character for “seed” can be read as “shu,” which can be understood as the “origins of life,” and “tane,” the seeds that are the source for all the food we eat. We offer this magazine with the aim of “seeding your thought” from a variety of perspectives. Though you may happen upon it by chance, we hope this will be an opportunity for you to go back to the point from where everything begins.
